The maunfacturer describes this lathe: This lathe is loaded with industrial sized features. Combine a speed range of 24-1600 RPM with the large swing dimensions (11 1/4" clearance over the cross slide!) and you get great finishes at maximum diameters! Other important features include: a large 3 1/16" spindle bore, auto carriage stop with indexable cams, apron clutch, interlocked apron controls, hex shaft feed rod, 11 3/4" wide bed and no gear changes for inch or metric threading plus much, much more!
